Important: Lead Time vs. Delivery Time
Most of our products are custom-branded to order. The total time from order to your door is: Production/Branding Lead Time + Courier Transit Time. Quoted lead times start from the date of mockup approval, not from payment. Please factor in both when planning for your event or deadline.
1. Delivery Coverage
We deliver to all locations throughout South Africa, including all nine provinces. This includes major cities, regional towns, and rural areas accessible by The Courier Guy's network. For very remote locations, additional delivery time may apply — we will advise at time of quoting.
We do not currently offer international shipping. For cross-border enquiries (e.g., SADC region), please contact us directly.
2. Production and Branding Lead Times
Before an order is dispatched, it must first be produced and quality-checked. The following are standard lead times from mockup approval to dispatch:
Lead times are indicative and apply to standard orders. Rush production may be available at an additional charge — WhatsApp us to confirm. Lead times do not include courier transit time. Public holidays are not counted as working days.
3. Courier and Transit Times
All orders are dispatched via Courier (tracked, door-to-door, signature on delivery). Once dispatched, typical transit times are:
These are estimates provided by The Courier Guy and are not guaranteed. Unforeseen delays (weather, vehicle breakdowns, public holidays) may occur. A tracking number is provided at dispatch so you can monitor your shipment.
4. Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are calculated based on the volumetric or actual weight of the parcel (whichever is greater), the number of parcels, and the delivery destination. Shipping is quoted as a line item on every quotation before you confirm your order.
For large bulk orders, we may be able to negotiate reduced shipping rates. Free shipping is not offered as a standard policy given the variable nature of our order sizes, but may be offered on promotional campaigns — check our homepage banner for any active promotions.
5. Split and Multi-Location Deliveries
For large orders that need to be delivered to multiple addresses (e.g., offices in Johannesburg, Cape Town, and Durban), we can split the consignment at time of dispatch. Each delivery address will have its own waybill and tracking number. Additional shipping charges apply per delivery address. Please specify all delivery addresses at the time of quoting.
6. Collection (Cape Town)
Cape Town-based clients are welcome to collect their order directly from our facility. Collection is by appointment only — please do not arrive without scheduling first. We will confirm the collection address and a suitable time once your order is ready. Collection avoids all shipping costs.
7. Order Tracking
Once your order is dispatched, we will send you a The Courier Guy waybill number via WhatsApp or email. You can track your parcel in real time at thecourierguy.co.za or via their app. Delivery requires a signature; ensure someone is available at the delivery address. If no one is available, The Courier Guy will attempt re-delivery or hold the parcel at a depot.
8. Damaged or Lost Shipments
8.1 Damaged in transit: If your parcel arrives visibly damaged, photograph the outer packaging and the contents immediately and notify us within 24 hours. Do not discard the damaged packaging — it may be required for the courier's claims process.
8.2 Lost in transit: If your parcel does not arrive within 3 business days of the estimated delivery date, notify us immediately. We will investigate with The Courier Guy and keep you updated.
8.3 We take full responsibility for ensuring your goods are correctly packed and dispatched. Where damage or loss is attributable to our packing, or confirmed as the courier's responsibility, we will arrange replacement or refund as appropriate. We carry transit insurance on all shipments.
9. Deadline Guarantee
We only accept an order if we are confident we can produce and deliver it by your required date. Before confirming, we check stock availability, production capacity, and realistic courier transit times. If we are not confident, we tell you before you pay — not after. This Deadline Guarantee is one of our core business commitments and distinguishes us from suppliers who overpromise on delivery.
