How do I place an order? +
There are three ways to order, depending on the product:
- Add to Cart — For products with confirmed stock and live pricing (Amrod catalog items), add to cart and checkout online.
- Request Branding Quote — For items you want branded with your logo. Click "Request a Quote" on the product page. We'll send a quote with a free digital mockup.
- Check Availability — For specialty products (Headwear24, National Flag, ONEg sweets). Click "Check Availability" and we'll confirm stock and pricing — usually within hours.
What is the minimum order quantity? +
Minimum quantities vary by product and branding method. Most branded items start from 10–25 units. Unbranded stock can be ordered from 1 unit. Exact minimums are shown on each product page — or ask us when requesting a quote.
How quickly do you respond to quote requests? +
Standard quotes are responded to within a few hours during business hours. WhatsApp is the fastest channel — 073 631 3139. Large or complex orders (multi-product, high volume) may take up to 24 hours. We will always acknowledge your enquiry immediately.
Can I see a mockup before I commit? +
Yes — every branded order includes a free digital mockup showing exactly how your logo will look on the product. You approve it before production starts. Production does not begin without your written sign-off.
Do you offer volume discounts? +
Yes. Every quote includes tiered pricing — for example, pricing at 50, 100, 250, and 500+ units. The more you order, the lower the unit cost. See our Wholesale page for details on trade account pricing.
Products & Branding
Where do you source your products? +
We source from six South African trade-only wholesalers: Amrod, Barron (via Caga Enterprises), Headwear24, National Flag, ONEg Candy, and Vicbay. Combined, this gives us access to over 234,000 brandable products. If you need something we don't stock directly, contact us — we'll find a source.
What branding methods do you offer? +
We offer 8 professional branding methods: Screen Printing, Embroidery, Laser Engraving, Pad Printing, Digital Direct Print (DTG/UV), Sublimation, Debossing/Embossing, and Vinyl/Heat Transfer. We'll recommend the best method for your specific product and quantity. See the full guide →
What format should my logo be in? +
For best results, provide your logo in vector format (AI, EPS, or PDF). High-resolution PNG (minimum 300dpi) also works for digital printing. If you only have a low-resolution file, share what you have — we'll advise whether it's usable and what alternatives exist.
Can you help me choose the right product? +

Some products say "Check Availability" — why? +
Products from Headwear24, National Flag, and ONEg Candy don't have live stock feeds connected to our website. For these items, we check stock availability with the supplier directly before we can confirm pricing. Click "Check Availability" and we'll get back to you — usually the same day.
Pricing & Payment
Are your prices inclusive of branding? +
Online catalog prices show the product cost only (excluding branding). Branding costs depend on the method, number of colours, branding area size, and quantity. Every quote we send includes a full breakdown: product cost + branding cost + delivery, with the total per-unit and order total clearly shown.
What payment methods do you accept? +
We accept:
- EFT / Bank Transfer — Against a proforma invoice. Order confirmed once payment reflects.
- Visa & Mastercard — Via PayFast, secure online payment.
- 30-Day Account — For approved trade accounts. Subject to credit check and application.
All invoices are issued by HT Advanced Solutions Group (Pty) Ltd.
Do you offer corporate or trade accounts? +
Yes. Approved trade accounts receive 30-day payment terms, volume pricing, a dedicated account manager, and priority production. See our Wholesale page for full details and how to apply.
Are you BEE certified? +
Yes. Giftips SA (trading through HT Advanced Solutions Group) is a Level 1 BEE contributor — the highest possible rating. Every order you place with us counts towards your procurement scorecard at the maximum contribution level. BEE compliance certificates are available on request, typically within the same business day.
Delivery & Turnaround
How long does production take? +
Standard timelines: unbranded stock items dispatch in 2–3 business days. Branded orders typically take 7–10 working days from mockup approval. Large or complex orders may take 14–21 working days. Rush orders are available — WhatsApp us immediately to check capacity. Always tell us your event date when requesting a quote.
Do you deliver nationwide? +
Yes. We deliver anywhere in South Africa via The Courier Guy. You receive a tracking number when your order is dispatched. Bulk orders can be split across multiple delivery addresses (branches, events, warehouses) on a single invoice. Collection from our Cape Town facility is also available.
Can you guarantee my delivery date? +
Yes — with conditions. Tell us your deadline in your first message. If we accept the order, we commit to that date. If we cannot meet your deadline, we'll tell you upfront before you pay. We do not take orders we cannot deliver on time.
Quality & Returns
What if my order is defective? +
Contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the defective items. We will arrange replacement at no cost. We do not argue about this — if the branding is defective, we replace it. Our 3-step quality control process is designed to prevent this, but if something slips through, we stand behind our work.
Can I return branded products? +
Custom-branded products are made specifically to your specifications and cannot be returned unless defective. Unbranded stock items may be returned within 7 days in original, unopened condition. See our Returns Policy for full details.
How does the 3-step quality control work? +
Every branded order goes through three named checkpoints:
- Pre-Production Check — Blank stock is inspected for defects before any branding begins.
- Mid-Production Spot-Check — Samples are pulled during the production run to verify logo alignment, colour accuracy, and consistency.
- Final Sign-Off — The complete order is counted, inspected, and photographed before dispatch.
